Understanding Level Design for Virtual Reality

At the bottom, you can find a full PDF copy of my Level Design-focused Master Thesis for Game Development & Research at the Cologne Game Lab.

It focuses on Linear Level Design and Virtual Reality concepts plus aims to understand the similarities and differences found in VR-games compared to non-VR games. I specifically examine the characteristics of Half-Life 2 and Half-Life: Alyx.
